I am delighted to announce that Sally Scott and Matthew Toro are Acuity’s employees of the month for January 2018.
Sally joined our team at 20 Gracechurch Street 2 years ago and has always been an outstanding team member. She is dedicated to her role, continually adding value with her knowledge and passion for service excellence.
Sally has also been instrumental in ensuring that new starters training on site is effective and comprehensive in its content. Her colleagues say that it is a real pleasure working with Sally, her friendly personality and her famous rice crispy cakes are the perfect recipe for success!

Her Reception Manager Kayleigh Hall Commented:
“Working only 3 days a week, it is impressive the speed in which she completes such a large quantity of tasks. In October Sally (along with Scott) went through the site specific manual, reviewing and rewriting it to be reformatted into the Acuity template. While doing this along with all her other duties, she managed to plan and host a successful charity event ‘Bake my Day’. She negotiated Many of the cake donations to be sold at the event and raised an amazing £324.69 for Dementia UK”.
Her Account Manager Arik Benichou commented:
“Sally is a positive, energetic and happy team member, she immediately embraced the culture of the site and always ensures the highest standards are maintained at all times. It was fantastic to see the positive impact she’s has on the operation and the team whilst also supporting the reception manger in her new role. I was also extremely impressed with the organisation of her “Bake make Day” event. Her engagement with many of the buildings occupiers was impressive and played a major part in the vent’s success. Well done and keep it up!”
Matthew joined the Acuity family in October 2017 and from day one he made a great first impression. His client, tenants and the Acuity management team have all praised Matthew's customer service skills and positive energy!
Matthew has also shown a high degree of flexibility and ownership, taking on additional responsibilities at Conduit Street by managing contractors and overseeing the site operations from a facilities perspective. He also revised the Select Team training, including detailed instructions for any emergencies in the building. The Select Team members have all commented on how good the training is at Conduit Street!
Please find below the comments of our client Elisa Romagnoli and his Manager Marta Bannister.
Elisa Romagnoli has recently commented:
“I will use this occasion to put down a quick line to highlight to you how wonderful Matthew is at 14-15 Conduit Street.
Last week we agreed on a site survey for a possible fiber optic installation for the 4th floor tenant. I could not be in attendance on the day and Matthew stepped in coordinating the visit with the tenants and assisting the contractor on the day. The task required a lot of flexibility to understand from an FM point of you our legal and H&S requirements and Matthew handled it without making it an headache for me and a burden for the tenants.
I shall say that his help was paramount to making the task run smoothly and my day stress free!!!!”
Feedback from the Account Manager, Marta Bannister:
“Matthew is a very warm and caring team member, who shows his passion for his job and the guests every step of the way. Every time I visit the site, the reception area is immaculate and observing Matthew interact with the clients and handle different queries is a pure joy. Matthew has really taken ownership of Conduit Street in a very short period of time. He does not only ensure the highest level of service when it comes to his reception duties but he has also been incredible at assisting our client with various facilities matters relating to the building. In the middle of January there was a site inspection scheduled for a Saturday, for maintenance contractors to complete their testing. Without hesitation Matthew offered to come in and he stayed with the contractors for the whole day to ensure that everything went according to plan. The other week, the building went unexpectedly into a full fire evacuation, due to a non-compliance by the adjacent shop. Matthew handled the evacuation brilliantly and upon returning to the building he liaised with the maintenance contractors to ensure that all of the systems, including chillers and fire panel were reset and were working correctly. I am extremely impressed with Matthew’s dedication to Acuity and the client. It is a pleasure to be working with him.”
