Our January Employee of the Month Winner is...

It is a pleasure to announce that we have three winners this month! Congratulations to Promi Ahmed, Mariangela D’Andrea and Gemma Pappalardo!


Promi Ahmed


Promi has been part of the Acuity family for three years and in that time has been a fantastic brand ambassador for both Acuity and our clients


Michael Kuczynski, Acuity Select Manager, commented:

"Promi joined Acuity in January 2017 and since then she has demonstrated a willingness to learn and work hard. It is this work ethic that has resulted in her being promoted from a receptionist to a leadership role at Daiwa. Promi is a customer service and solution-focused individual who has improved standards on site; introducing new procedures and a new visitor management system. Promi has expressed interest in progressing her career with Acuity still further. Her development plan reflects this ambition and she has recently gained additional experience by shadowing our reception manager at one of our larger contracts."


Client at Daiwa commented:

"Promi consistently goes over and above to provide support to the business and to ensure that our internal operations run smoothly. Not only does she regularly liaise with key departments such as technology and security to ensure that internal events run smoothly and external clients receive a pleasant experience, but Promi has also spent her own time designing the décor for the company ‘End of Year’ party and was a huge help to me in its successful delivery. She was able to deliver a beautiful, professional service, well within budget and ahead of schedule. Additionally, Promi is always a smiling face in the morning, who is consistently calm and solution-driven - offering positive advice to any challenge faced. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Promi for all of her efforts and encourage her to please keep up the fantastic work!"


Mariangela D’Andrea


Mariangela has been part of the Acuity family for a little under a year and in that time has been a fantastic brand ambassador for both Acuity and our clients.

"Mariangela joined the Select Team in February last year and has proven to be committed and solution-focused. Mariangela’s customer service skills are exemplary. She is a friendly and positive person and always has a happy greeting for her co-workers, guests and tenants. We regularly receive fantastic feedback from our clients regarding Mariangela's performance and attitude. It is a pleasure to work with someone who genuinely cares about delivering excellent customer service at all times."


Diego Cabrero, Acuity Select and Project Leader, commented:

"Since Mariangela joined the Select Team, she has made a really big impression with both the Acuity team and our clients. She shows dedication in performing her duties and also has a wonderful disposition, bringing a smile to the face of everyone she interacts with.

We are definitely very lucky to have Mariangela as part of the Select Team."


Gemma Pappalardo


Gemma joined the Acuity Family on the 2nd January 2018 as part of our Front of house team at the British Medical Association. During her time with Acuity, Gemma has shown great dedication and passion. She works very closely with the Front of House Manager to enhance the customer experience on site and does a fantastic job in raising the standards and managing an award winning team at the front desk.

“It is with great pleasure that I put forward Gemma for EOTM. Gemma is a valued and respected member of my team who does a fantastic job of leading the reception team and ensuring they are knowledgeable and confident in conducting their roles. She takes great pride in assuming responsibility for the smooth running of the reception service, reassuring me that the team and our guests are in capable hands.


Gemma has come up with some fantastic ideas to enhance the visitor and occupier experience and is always thinking of new ideas and improvements. She is a committed and reliable member of the team who has shown herself to be a team player and someone who can be counted on. Her hard work and efforts were recently recognised internally by the BMA Venues Team and Support Services when she won a “Shining Star Award” for being a pleasant, friendly, welcoming and helpful team member who is approachable and always has a smile on her face. It is a pleasure working with Gemma, I am extremely proud to have her within my team”.

“ It has been a real pleasure to have observed Gemma developing in her role and becoming a inspiring leader to her team. The BMA is a very busy reception and so it’s wonderful to see the high mystery visitor audit results the team receive, as well as the regular fantastic customer feedback” .
