Go Ape have locations all over the UK, with London centres at Battersea Park, Cockfosters and Alexandra Palace, each easily accessible by public transport. Different activities are available at each location, with a variety of adventures and packages available to suit group bookings. They can accommodate birthday parties, Stags and Hens, plus corporate days based around fun and social bonding or training and development. Go Ape provides an excellent means of rewarding your team for their hard work. The adrenaline generated on the day is a great ice breaker, giving friends and colleagues plenty to bond over once they’re down from the trees. There are qualified instructors on hand to ensure optimum safety, plus an excellent harness system to keep you free from any harm, but that’s not to say you won’t get nervous…

On our visit to Go Ape at Battersea Park, we tried out their Tree Top Challenge. Reputed to be the most exhilarating experience, our 2.5-hour journey among the trees had us climbing rope ladders, balancing across beams and whizzing along ziplines, all at heights of up to 14 meters above the ground. It feels even higher once you’re up there, but the satisfaction of conquering your fears and pushing further than you thought possible is unbeatable. There are no special levels of fitness required. If participants are over 1.4 meters tall and under 130kg in weight, they’re good to go. Adult supervision is required for children under 16 and most sites offer courses aimed at younger climbers, which adults and families are welcome to enjoy.

Our fun filled time at Go Ape will certainly be remembered for all the right reasons. We’d certainly suggest this as an activity for those with a sense of daring.
